Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer specialising in Maintenance to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of mechanical systems within our facilities. Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment and systems to ensure continuous operation items include but not limited to are LTHW and Steam boilers, pipe work repairs, pumps and Purified water systems.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with other departments along side a planner to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to production.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems knowledge.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience providing exceptional customer service in a technical context is desirable.
- A background in electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge is advantageous for this role. Pay: £50,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
