Summary
The Digital Marketing Assistant will support the delivery of marketing activity across the business, with a particular focus on digital marketing, CRM, email marketing, and website content.
Working closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager and wider creative team, the successful candidate will help deliver engaging digital campaigns while developing their skills across all areas of marketing. This role may suit a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of their digital marketing career who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn.
Essential Functions/Competencies
- Create, schedule and deliver email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo.
- Assist with customer segmentation, automated workflows and day-to-day CRM management.
- Create and maintain email templates for product launches, trade shows, seasonal campaigns and customer engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance and support reporting on customer engagement and campaign success.
- Assist with maintaining content across the company’s websites, ensuring products, promotions and information remain accurate and up to date.
- Support the management and development of the company’s Faire account, including customer communications, promotional tools and Faire Market opportunities.
- Support the administration and troubleshooting of the Blue Alligator platform.
- Assist with maintaining product information across Amazon and other digital sales channels.
- Help plan, create and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Support the creation of written, photographic and video content for digital marketing campaigns.
- Maintain the social media content calendar and monitor engagement.
- Research trends, competitor activity and new content ideas.
- Write copy for websites, blogs, email campaigns and other marketing materials.
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, seasonal launches and promotional activity.
- Assist with campaign reporting and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Job Requirements/Education and Experience
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or a related subject, or relevant practical experience.
- Applications from recent graduates are encouraged.
- A genuine interest in digital marketing and brand development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience using social media platforms for content creation would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Klaviyo, WordPress, WooCommerce, Google Analytics or Canva would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Experience with photography and image editing would be advantageous.
- Positive, motivated and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
