Due to steady expansion and ever-growing workload, we are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our team here at Lasman Industries.
To be considered for this position you must have at least 5 years previous experience within a construction environment and a proven track record in running your own crew. You will have a can-do positive attitude, a full driving licence and CSCS card.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Setting up the construction site.
· Running your own 2/3 person crew.
· Laying slabs, driveways and kerbs.
· Carrying out fencing works.
· Drainage works.
· Minor demolition.
· Laying foundations.
· Laying and finishing of concrete.
· Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance.
The above duties for the role are not exhaustive.
You will also be familiar with small tools, stihl saws, breakers, excavators and dumpers etc.
Pay: £15.45-£17.45 per hour
