We require an Electrical Supervisor to assist with the delivery of domestic projects, predominately in Swindon and the surrounding areas. The role will be to manage and deliver a variety of electrical works on our Social housing contracts including Solar P.V. ASHP, Ventilation, and Storage heater installations.
Main roles & responsibilities:
- Responsible for all the Electrical services on site and the day to day supervision and monitoring of all ongoing work on site.
- Liaise with and organise operatives.
- Carry out quality checks to engineers and their installations.
- Manage and control all areas of material stock control, including distribution of materials.
- Liaise with clients and attend all relevant meetings.
- Check and insist that all Health & Safety requirements are carried out and operative are issued and adhere to all risk assessments and method statements, and required P.P.E is worn on site.
- Allocate work and ensure completion in accordance with the designated schedule.
- Problem solve when issues arise on site.
Qualifications and experience:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Time-served electrician (5 years qualified).
- 2 years’ either supervisor or management level.
- SMSTS or SSSTS (REQUIRED).
- ECS / CSCS card
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical installations, testing & inspection.
- City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent attention to detail, accurate and methodical in work to overcome challenges and see projects through to completion.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise well when managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to build good relationships and rapport with clients.
