We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our friendly dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Assist in the diagnosis of dental conditions by evaluating medical histories and performing assessments.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
- A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene/Therapy is required.
- Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential for newly qualified hygienists/therapists
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
