Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. In this lively role, you will be the face of our stores, engaging with customers, assisting with sales, and ensuring our displays are inviting and well-organised. Your energy and communication skills will help create a memorable shopping experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products, offering knowledgeable advice on gardening and horticulture items
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Keep the store tidy, organised, and well-stocked to ensure a welcoming environment
- Support inventory management by receiving deliveries
- Maintain and clean the toilets
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to connect with customers and team members confidently
- Excellent organizational skills to manage displays, stock levels, and store cleanliness
- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm is key!
- Ability to work flexibly during store hours, including weekends or peak times if necessary
