Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with the implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Support patients with daily activities such as mobility, hygiene, and nutrition, ensuring their comfort and dignity
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, following organizational protocols and IT systems for record-keeping
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure clear understanding of care procedures
- Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies and reporting any concerns or incidents promptly
- Support the organization’s workflow by managing supplies, equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of clinical areas
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and organizational procedures
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care role is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Strong understanding of nursing principles and the ability to assist with care plans effectively
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
