Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our supply chain processes, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers. This position requires strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of logistics.
Duties
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and improve processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and supplier communications.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management to reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Help manage stock control and stock reconciliation
- Build and develop supplier relationships.
- Manage receipt schedule for haulers/suppliers.
- Other Ad hoc duties as required by the needs of the job role.
- Replenish stock at optimum levels based on demand forecasts
- Raise purchase orders in accordance with agreed supplier order and delivery schedules
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
