Overview
We are seeking a skilled ICA Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various telemetry systems and flow measurement devices, predominately in the South West but we also have equipment UK wide. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build on an already established background in ICA equipment. The ICA Technician will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our growing suite of remote monitoring equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on telemetry, flow and level systems.
- Troubleshooting faults and carryingout repairs.
- Program, configure, and commission telemetry and flow instrumentation.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and optimise operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience working with instrumentation systems within an industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally having experience in the water industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit diagrams, and control panels.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
This role is ideal for technically proficient individuals seeking a position that combines electrical, instrumentation, and control system expertise within a supportive team environment. Working mostly from local office, the successful candidate will proactively plan their time between site visits, maintaining records and responding to faults.
Pay: £39,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
