We have a rare opportunity for a Tax manager/Senior manager to join our established team based at our Sutton Quays office in Runcorn. Our location has excellent transport links across the North West with easy access just off junction 12 of the M56.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to manage a varied and interesting client portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords and trusts, delivering both compliance and advisory services to both private and corporate clients. The role offers a high level of autonomy with the opportunity for career development.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, acting as the main contact
· Compliance and advisory work -advising on a range of tax matters for individuals and owner managed businesses
· Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser
· Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations
· Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
Candidate Requirements
· A strong personal tax background gained in public practice is essential, with exposure to advisory-led work for individuals and owner-managed businesses.
· CTA/ATT qualified or qualified by experience
· Experience of trusts would be advantageous, although this would not be essential.
· You will be confident managing your own client portfolio, maintaining strong relationships, and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, alongside the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
