BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Site Manager is responsible for the overall management, planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing and warehouse operations at a designated site in Lisburn. The role ensures the efficient production and dispatch of goods, meeting agreed standards for quality, quantity, cost, and delivery times while maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 12.45pm (38.75 hours per week)
Location: Lisburn, BT28 2FL
*This role is office based at Decora Lisburn.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee production operations, ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules tailored to the needs of the site, optimising efficiency and capacity utilisation.
- Monitor production KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) across the site and take corrective actions to address any deviations from targets.
- Collaborate with the Quality Team to maintain high product standards and promptly resolve quality issues.
- Oversee warehouse operations at the site, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes to ensure timely and accurate order processing, stock control, and inventory.
- Optimise warehouse layouts and storage practices to maximise space utilisation and streamline material handling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff across the site.
- Develop and maintain effective reporting systems and keep the Senior Operations Manager updated on daily/ weekly developments.
- Provide strong leadership to teams.
- Manage, train, and develop teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive positive people management adhering to company policy and procedure.
- Conduct regular performance assessments with Operations Supervisors, set individual and team objectives, and provide feedback to support staff development and retention.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing and warehousing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and participate in cross-site projects aimed at improving production processes, reducing waste, and increasing overall productivity.
- Work with the Senior Operations Manager in adhering to budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Monitor the maintenance of production equipment and warehouse facilities at the site to minimise downtime and ensure operational readiness.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties / projects which may be required from time to time.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years’ recent, relevant management experience in a busy fast-moving operations industry
- Experience in driving accuracy and efficiency within an operations environment
- Experience of managing teams within tight quality and efficiency parameters
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and WMS
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and implementing safe working practices
- Experience of managing employee relations
- Experience of training/ developing staff
- Ability to make decisions and use initiative
- Ability to implement, and ensure compliance with, Company policy and procedures
- Full clean UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
