Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious Investment Banking Associate to join our UK advisory team. The role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of strategic and capital markets transactions, supporting corporate clients throughout the lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing activities, and ongoing advisory relationships.
The successful candidate will play an active role in transaction delivery, financial analysis, client engagement and the coordination of complex projects alongside senior bankers and product specialists.
Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory and Execution
- Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, debt financings and other corporate finance mandates.
- Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses to assess strategic alternatives and transaction opportunities.
- Produce investment memoranda, board presentations, pitch materials and other client deliverables.
- Manage key workstreams during live transactions, including due diligence, data gathering and stakeholder coordination.
- Work closely with legal advisers, accountants and internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Client Relationship Support
- Assist senior bankers in maintaining and strengthening relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
- Monitor developments across industries and capital markets to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
- Support ongoing dialogue with management teams on financing strategies, shareholder considerations and corporate developments.
- Contribute to the delivery of tailored advice and long-term strategic solutions.
Capital Markets and Financing
- Partner with product teams on equity capital raises, IPOs and secondary offerings.
- Assist in structuring and evaluating debt financing and leveraged transactions.
- Support clients with shareholder engagement, strategic defence considerations and scenario analysis where appropriate.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience within investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or a similar environment.
- Strong capabilities in financial modelling, company valuation and financial statement analysis.
- The ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to interact with clients and senior stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset and a keen interest in businesses, industries and financial markets.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience mentoring analysts or junior colleagues is advantageous.
- A university degree with a strong academic background.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are considered beneficial.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
