About the Role:
Antrim is well connected to Belfast and the wider Northern Ireland business community, and at Royaksa Business Solutions Ltd, we help organisations turn complex plans into structured, measurable results.
We are looking for a Director of Project Delivery who can take full ownership of our project delivery function. You will lead major client programmes, strengthen delivery standards, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the expected quality.
You will work closely with senior leadership, clients, project managers, and operational teams. This is not simply a reporting position. You will be responsible for improving how projects are planned, governed, delivered, and reviewed across the organisation.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our office is based in Antrim, with convenient access to Belfast, surrounding commercial centres, and major transport routes. We provide a professional and collaborative workplace where senior leaders can influence how the business develops.
Leadership Influence:
You will have a direct voice in operational and strategic decisions. Your recommendations will shape project governance, resource planning, client delivery, and future business growth.
Varied Project Portfolio:
You will oversee a range of business improvement, operational transformation, client implementation, and service delivery projects. The role offers variety and responsibility across multiple business functions.
Professional Growth:
We support continued professional development through leadership training, industry events, and relevant project management qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery Leadership:
Lead the planning and delivery of high value projects and programmes from initiation through completion.
Delivery Governance:
Develop and maintain project management standards, reporting structures, risk controls, and quality assurance processes.
Team Leadership:
Manage, coach, and support project managers, programme leads, and delivery coordinators. Set clear expectations and review team performance.
Resource Planning:
Ensure projects have the appropriate people, budgets, systems, and operational support required for successful delivery.
Financial Oversight:
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, margins, and commercial performance. Take corrective action when delivery costs or timelines are at risk.
Risk Management:
Identify delivery risks, operational barriers, and dependencies. Create practical mitigation plans and escalate serious concerns when necessary.
Client Management:
Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders. Provide clear updates on progress, risks, budgets, and project outcomes.
Performance Reporting:
Prepare accurate project reports, dashboards, delivery forecasts, and executive updates for senior management.
Continuous Improvement:
Review completed projects, identify lessons learned, and introduce improvements that strengthen future delivery performance.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in project management, programme delivery, business operations, or professional services, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position.
Leadership Background:
Proven experience managing project teams and overseeing multiple complex projects or programmes at the same time.
Project Management Knowledge:
Strong understanding of project governance, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, performance reporting, and quality control.
Qualifications:
A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
Commercial Awareness:
Ability to manage budgets, protect project margins, evaluate commercial risks, and support profitable service delivery.
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to present recommendations and project updates to senior stakeholders.
Decision Making:
Able to assess complex information, make informed decisions, and remain composed when projects face delays, risks, or changing priorities.
Mindset:
You are organised, commercially aware, and focused on measurable results. You understand when to challenge a delivery plan, when to support the team, and when decisive action is required.
