Project Manager - Onboarding / Site Implementation
Location: Croydon, UK (hybrid – two days in office) Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
The Role
Hozah is an award-winning, VC-backed company transforming parking into a seamless, automated experience. Every new car park we sign needs to be turned into a live, revenue-generating site – and that’s your job, end to end.
You’ll take each site from signed contract to fully operational: understanding what the client really needs, designing a scheme that works commercially and on the ground, then orchestrating contractors, connectivity, signage, and configuration until it’s live and right. Our sites mix software with the real world – ANPR cameras, networks, payments – but you don’t need to be an engineer: our TechOps team owns the deep technical work. Your craft is turning ambiguity into a plan, and a plan into a working site.
You won’t know everything, and we don’t expect you to. You’ll have product experts, TechOps engineers, an Estate Manager, and trusted contractors to lean on as much as you like. We just expect you to think each site through, ask the right questions, chase the answers, and own the outcome.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end onboarding of new car park sites – the single point of accountability for every launch.
- Run client discovery and desktop site surveys to understand the client’s needs, the site’s physical reality, and what’s commercially viable.
- Design the car park installation scheme – deciding what we’ll actually do at each site across the physical, virtual, and technical realms (cameras, connectivity, tariffs, enforcement rules, signage, permits) – utilising internal and external experts.
- Build and drive the project plan across all workstreams, managing dependencies and sequencing so nothing stalls.
- Collaborate widely, chase, unblock, and escalate early when needed – without letting go of ownership.
- Procure equipment and signage, obtain quotes, and manage contractors – validating their work against your spec.
- Coordinate configuration with TechOps and ensure every site passes technical sign-off before launch.
- Test each site the way a real motorist, client, or tenant would use it; monitor post-launch data and resolve issues before enforcement switches on.
- Hand complete, accurate site records over into business-as-usual, and feed lessons back into our process.
- Run wider projects: estate migrations onto our platform and signage/compliance programmes.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years in implementation, onboarding, client delivery, or project management – ideally for software with a real-world footprint (e.g. EPOS, payments, telematics, access control, EV charging, field-service tech).
- A knack for turning vague client requirements into concrete, deliverable designs.
- Curious and resourceful: you ask the right questions and hunt down answers rather than assuming.
- Highly organised: several concurrent projects, competing deadlines, nothing slips.
- Comfortable with physical delivery – installs, contractors, connectivity, landlords.
- Technically literate enough to read a network diagram and challenge a contractor.
- A clear communicator with clients, contractors, and engineers alike.
- No parking experience needed – we’ll teach you parking.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and benefits; hybrid working – two days in office, three remote.
- Training, certifications, and real career development in a fast-scaling business.
- Visible impact – every site you deliver earns revenue from day one.
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Discounted or free food
- On-site parking
- Transport links
