Part-Time Front of House / Waiting Staff
The Pickled Fox is a small, independent, family-run restaurant and bar in Margate. We are looking for a friendly and reliable part-time server/ front-of-house team member to start immediately.
We are a very small team, so everyone helps with everything. This isn’t a role where you will only be taking orders and carrying plates — we all muck in wherever needed.
The role will include:
- Welcoming customers, taking orders and serving food and drinks
- Preparing and serving drinks, including cocktails and coffee
- Taking payments
- Helping with simple kitchen preparation, such as salads and other cold dishes
- Plating cakes and snacks
- Clearing tables and keeping the bar and restaurant clean and organised
- Washing up and helping in the kitchen when needed
- Helping with the end-of-shift clean-down
- Generally helping wherever needed during busy services
We are looking for somebody who is friendly, hardworking, calm when it gets busy and happy to work as part of a close-knit team.
You must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Previous hospitality experience would be helpful, but the most important thing is that you are reliable, friendly, willing to learn and happy to get stuck in.
This is a part-time role with shifts mainly at weekends, with additional hours available during busy periods.

Pay: £12.71-£14.24 per hour
