Duties
- Monitor entry and exit points to authorize access for guests, staff, and authorized personnel
- Conduct thorough checks of individuals entering the premises to ensure safety compliance
- Use CCTV systems to oversee activity within the venue, identifying potential issues proactively
- Respond swiftly to incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency services if necessary
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Provide first aid when needed, offering immediate assistance until professional help arrives
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor entries, and surveillance activities for record-keeping
Requirements
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license is essential
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV operations and loss prevention techniques
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication skills with a positive attitude towards customer service
- First aid certification is highly desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
- Physically fit to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout shifts
