We're looking for an enthusiastic Shift Manager to join our team at Papa John's Lincoln. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in restaurant management with a leading pizza franchise.
The Role
- Support day-to-day shift operations, ensuring smooth service and high food quality standards
- Help lead, motivate, and train team members during shifts
- Handle customer queries and ensure a great in-store experience
- Assist with stock control, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures
- Step up to full shift responsibility as training progresses
What We're Looking For
- Ideally, experience in a franchise or pizza background
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment
- A natural leader with strong communication skills
- Reliable, hands-on, and able to stay calm under pressure
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Proven supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Experience with food production, kitchen operations, or hotel service is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Familiarity with serving in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or bars.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and guests.
- Previous experience in culinary roles like barista or hospitality positions is a plus.
