Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista / server to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety will contribute to an exceptional customer experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Engage with customers to provide help and recommendations based on their preferences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
