Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Card Body Repair and Painting Technician to join our team. This role involves restoring and refinishing vehicle bodies, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Responsibilities
- Repairing vehicle body damage using specialised tools and techniques, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
- Preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and masking to achieve smooth finishes.
- Applying paint, primers, and coatings with attention to colour matching and finish consistency.
- Utilising hand tools such as hammers, dollies, and chisels for bodywork repairs.
- Operating power tools including sanders, grinders, and spray guns safely and effectively.
- Conducting heavy lifting of vehicle panels or parts as required during repair processes.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to adhere to safety standards and optimise workflow.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards before returning vehicles to clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive body repair or painting is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures and repair techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as hammers, dollies, and chisels.
- Proficiency in operating power tools used in bodywork and painting tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength suited to handling vehicle panels or equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling, painting environments, and tool operation is preferred.

Pay: £100.00-£200.00 per day
