Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, upselling menu items where appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation stations
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Manage cash register transactions and handle payments accurately
- Assist in restocking supplies and organising workstations for smooth operation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to perform basic maths for handling cash transactions and giving correct change
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands within the role
