Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining and bar experience. This position involves assisting with food service, serving beverages, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organisation of the dining area. Duties
- Assist in the service of food items according to established standards.
- Serve beverages and food to guests promptly and courteously and work on our very busy function bars too.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support bartending operations by preparing drinks as required, following recipes accurately.
- Assist with catering events, ensuring all aspects of service meet guest expectations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Bartending experience and willingness to learn is important.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
