Dispatch / Delivery Driver
ESP Laser Cutting is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dispatch / Delivery Driver to join our growing team. If you're organised, enjoy driving, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, check, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
- Load and unload company vehicles safely.
- Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials around the warehouse and yard.
- Liaise with couriers to arrange collections and deliveries.
- Book shipments and complete dispatch documentation using courier systems.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock handling and organisation.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
- Forklift experience is essential.
- Previous experience dealing with couriers and organising collections.
- Computer literate, with the ability to use dispatch software, email, and Microsoft Office.
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and handling materials.
- Previous experience in dispatch, warehouse, or delivery driving is desirable.
