Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the smooth operation of our kitchen by ensuring cleanliness, organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within the hospitality industry, particularly in a restaurant or hotel environment. The Kitchen Porter will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Supporting the organisation of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Supporting the movement of supplies and equipment around the kitchen as needed
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector are essential

This role is a part-time, temporary, seasonal position and will finish mid-September.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible person who is able to cover our busy times. The hours are going to be 11 am to 4.30 pm, which includes weekends 3 days a week.
we are based in Horning, so please only apply if you are able and willing to get to Horning. There are very few buses.
Pay: £8.00-£12.80 per hour
