Role Overview
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Machine Operator to join our Production Team within our fast-paced manufacturing environment, where quality, efficiency and attention to detail are essential.
The successful candidate will primarily operate our UV flatbed printers, producing a wide range of exhibition, retail and display graphics. Alongside machine operation, the role will involve supporting other areas of production, including print finishing and general manufacturing duties, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in large format printing who enjoys variety and wants to become part of a growing, supportive production team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor our UV printing equipment
- Prepare materials in accordance with job specifications
- Carry out machine set-up, calibration and routine maintenance checks
- Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments where necessary
- Identify and report machine faults or production issues promptly
- Rotate into print finishing duties, including trimming, mounting, packing and quality inspection
- Ensure all work meets customer specifications and company quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and comply with all Health & Safety procedures.
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating large format digital printing equipment
- Experience with UV flatbed printing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to interpret job sheets and production instructions accurately
- Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality

Education
- GCSE or equivalent (required).
