Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the company’s financial management processes. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to transparency, compliance, and operational excellence within a fast-paced global organization.
Requirement:
- Accounting degree or equivalent in Bachelor or Master (CPA or equivalent is a must).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, including 2 years of supervisory responsibility with the ability to see the big picture whilst focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.
- Intermediate to advanced skill in Excel and accounting software (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
- Ability to meet & establish deadlines with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
- Flexibility and Adaptability to fast-paced environment and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
- This role will start as the Senior Accountant for the United Kingdom, with the opportunity to step up to become the Finance Controller for the region if outperforming.

Responsibility:
Reporting to the General Manager – Global Finance (based in Sydney), your responsibility will include:
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported, and are in compliance with government regulation and legislation, for operations in the United Kingdom.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment of various suppliers and taxes.
- Finalizing month-end close as per distributed timetable, including general journals, prepayment amortization, accruals & provisions, etc. as required.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation (cash reconciliation in particular), intercompany transactions, expense allocation, etc.
- Prepare of month-end variance commentary and other required reporting pack
- Assisting Australian Head Office with half year end and year end reporting/ audit.
- Monitor and manage cash flows. Prepare & update 12-month cash flow forecast.
- Prepare semi-annual and annual tax pack for Head Office global tax provision. Liaise with tax advisors for tax compliance.
- Review internal costs to seek constantly more cost effective operation manner.
- Identify weakness in internal control and develop standardized procedure to be implemented across the United Kingdom.
- Provide commercial support to the General Manager and floor managers on the operational side to achieve regional financial targets
- Ad hoc as required.
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
