Eat That Frog CIC is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Vocational Skills Instructor to join our Exeter team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people aged 16+, helping them develop confidence, employability skills, and positive progression pathways.

Since 2011, we have been delivering innovative education, employability and personal development programmes across Devon, supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and helping them overcome barriers to success.
The Role
As a Vocational Skills Instructor, you will deliver engaging and inclusive learning programmes to small groups and individual learners, both face-to-face and online. You will support learners to develop vocational, employability, and personal skills while working closely with families, employers, schools, local authorities and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning sessions
- Supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Conducting assessments, setting targets and monitoring learner progress
- Providing pastoral support and person-centred guidance
- Developing work experience and community engagement opportunities
- Maintaining accurate learner records and documentation
What We are Looking For
Essential:
- Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above- ideally Maths
- Literacy and numeracy qualifications at Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience delivering qualifications and employability skills
- Experience supporting learners with SEND
Desirable:
- Certificate in education Level 4/PGCE (within 3 years be working towards achieving QTLS) or equivalent
- Verifiers Award or equivalent (or willing to undertake)
- Assessors Award (or willingness to achieve)
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Experience delivering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
