Salary: £33,419 per annum
AYR/TTO: All year round, permanent

About the Role
As a Youth Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with epilepsy, along with their families, to overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes in their wellbeing, education, independence and everyday lives. Based from home, you’ll deliver a mix of one-to-one and group support, primarily online, while also undertaking some regional face-to-face work.
Working closely with families, schools, healthcare professionals and community organisations, you’ll build strong partnerships that help young people access the support they need. You'll manage your own caseload, develop personalised support plans, provide guidance and practical interventions, and contribute to creating a service that puts young people’s voices at its heart. Alongside direct support, you'll ensure high standards of safeguarding, record keeping and service evaluation are maintained.
Based from home, ideally in the North of England, this role requires occasional regional and national travel, including visits to our Surrey office and London.
What we need from you
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled practitioner with experience of supporting children and young people in youth work, education, health, social care or a similar setting. You will be confident building relationships with young people, families and professionals, and able to deliver engaging support both online and face to face.
You’ll bring:
- Experience supporting children and young people aged 8–25 through one-to-one and group interventions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, schools, healthcare professionals and partner organisations.
- A sound understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Excellent organisation and case management skills, alongside confidence using digital systems and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, empathetic and resilient approach, with a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
Knowledge of epilepsy, youth participation, or experience working with young people with health conditions or additional needs would be an advantage, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about empowering young people and helping them thrive.
