DPC are looking for a skilled Engineer/Inspector, familiar with precision machined components to take up the role of Inspector at our CNC machining facility in Shaw, Oldham
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector you would be required to work alongside our Chief Inspector in our Inspection Department performing first-off, batch, and final inspections.
The inspection department has a comprehensive range of calibrated measuring equipment including Mitutoyo & Axiom CMMs, OGP Smartscopes, Shadowgraphs - familiarity with such equipment would be an advantage but training will also be provided.
The suitable candidate should have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, have a good understanding of precision engineering techniques and measuring equipment. First Article Inspection Reports are often raised on precision manufactured parts so familiarity with Excel is an advantage.
