About the Role:
As a Lunchtime Cover Assistant, you'll support our nursery staff to ensure a calm, safe, and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our children aged 0-5 years. The hours of this role are 10.30-14.30 Monday-Friday.
Your main duties will include:
- Helping to set up and serve lunch
- Encouraging good table manners and healthy eating habits
- Assisting with feeding younger children if needed
- Supporting children during toilet time and handwashing
- Tidying up and resetting the room after lunch
- Providing a nurturing presence while staff take their lunch breaks
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Friendly, patient, and supportive attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- Experience in a childcare setting is a bonus, but not essential
- A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references
