Stagecoach Lichfield is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and experienced Drama Teacher to join our supportive and energetic team from September 2026.
We are also offering paid shadowing opportunities during June/July before the end of this term, giving the successful candidate the chance to settle in and get to know our students and teaching style ahead of September.
About the Role
We’re seeking someone who:
- Is passionate about drama, performance, and developing young performers
- Can deliver engaging, creative, and structured drama lessons for children and young people of all abilities
- Has excellent class management skills and can confidently lead energetic groups while creating a positive and inclusive environment
- Can support students in developing performance, improvisation, storytelling, and character work
- Brings strong film and screen performance knowledge, helping students explore acting techniques across both stage and camera work
- Contributes to rehearsals and performance preparation for our yearly productions
- Brings energy, positivity, and imagination to every class
- Enjoys inspiring confidence, creativity, and teamwork in young performers
Desirable
- Previous experience teaching within Stagecoach or a similar performing arts school
- Performing arts qualifications or relevant professional experience
- Experience preparing students for performances
