Occupational Therapy Essex is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our new Experts at Hand Team, supporting children and young people with SEND in mainstream schools across Havering.
About the Role
Working alongside Occupational Therapists, you will:
- Deliver individual and group interventions
- Support children with sensory, motor and self-regulation needs
- Assist with assessments and observations
- Prepare therapy resources and activities
- Support training for school staff
- Maintain clinical records and administrative tasks
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children or young people
- Has an interest in occupational therapy, SEND and neurodiversity
- Is organised, proactive and creative
- Has excellent communication skills
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a car
- Is confident using Microsoft 365
