Dental Elite are recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join a well-established mixed practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to take over an established patient list from a retiring Associate, offering long-term stability, strong private growth potential, and the support of an experienced, forward-thinking team.
About the Role
- Contract: Full-time or part-time (minimum 2 days per week)
- Start Date: September 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
- Working Hours: Generally 09:00–17:00 (flexibility available)
- UDA Rate: £14 per UDA
- UDA Allocation: Negotiable depending on experience and days worked
- Private Split: 50%
- Lab Bills: 50/50
- Patient Base: Established, stable NHS list with excellent private development opportunities
Ideal Candidate
- Open to all levels of experience – Foundation Dentists welcome
- Mentorship and support available within an FD training practice
- Confident delivering high-quality NHS dentistry with an interest in developing private treatments
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- An interest in supporting practice marketing and social media would be welcomed but is not essential
Practice Details
- Predominantly NHS practice with a growing private element
- 4 surgery practice with a 5th surgery currently being developed
- Fully digital using Dentally software
- Equipped with digital radiography, intraoral scanner and modern clinical equipment
- Ongoing investment including 3D printing technology and CBCT planned
- Established and loyal patient base with very few new NHS patients
- Ample free parking at the Metrodome (2-minute walk)
- Excellent transport links, just 7 minutes from Barnsley Train Station
Requirements
- GDC registered Dentist
- Active NHS Performer Number (or due to obtain following Foundation Training)
- Right to work in the UK
