Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support to children in our respite home The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided in accordance with organisational policies
- Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferences
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
Skills
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive clients when required
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively
- Proficiency in basic IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols within care environments

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
