Casual Chef
Are you passionate about delivering great food in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a motivated and reliable Chef to join our team here at Delta Hotels by Marriott Country Club in our Tempo Sports Bar.
Tempo Sports Bar is a vibrant venue serving high-quality food in a relaxed and energetic atmosphere. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their section, working independently, and consistently delivering excellent food standards.
What is required:

Preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards and according to company specifications.

Ensuring food is prepared, presented and served consistently and on time.

Maintaining excellent food quality and presentation standards set by the Head Chef.

Managing your workstation efficiently and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment.

Working independently during trading periods and taking responsibility for kitchen operations when lone working.

Supporting busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail and food quality.

Ensuring all food is stored, labelled and rotated correctly in line with food safety regulations.

Completing daily cleaning duties and maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and wash-up areas.

Monitoring stock levels and supporting stock rotation and waste control procedures.

Ensuring all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.

Following all food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures at all times.

Reporting maintenance issues, accidents and safety concerns promptly and appropriately.

Participating in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.

Ability to work confidently both as part of a team and independently.

Comfortable with lone working and taking responsibility for kitchen operations during quieter periods.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
