Job Description:
HGV Class 2 (C) Skip Driver
Location: Pegasus Grab Hire, Bott Lane, Lye, DY9 7AW
Hours: Monday – Friday, 06:30 – 17:15 (occasional weekend work)
We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join our team at Pegasus Grab Hire, based out of Bott Lane, Lye.
The role will mainly involve skip work, with occasional work across other vehicles within our fleet where required.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver, exchange and collect skips to and from customer sites
- Operate a skip vehicle safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep records up to date
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Work safely and professionally when dealing with customers and sites
What we’re looking for:
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence (C entitlement)
- Valid CPC and Digital Driver Card
- Previous skip driving experience essential
- Hook Loader (RoRo) experience preferred
- Class 1 (C+E) licence preferred
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Reliable, flexible and committed to safe driving
