Support Worker
Pay rate: £14.18- £15.23 per hour
Shift Pattern: 08.00- 20.00 (days), 20.00-08.00 (sleep nights)
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Truro, providing 2:1 support to a bright and joyful lady living in her own home. The person we support has autism and behaviours that challenge and requires round-the-clock care delivered by a consistent and understanding team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone with a warm personality who brings happiness to those around her. She enjoys arts and crafts, pottery, and getting out in the community, so we're looking for someone who is proactive, patient, and passionate about promoting independence and meaningful experiences.
Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

Full UK Driving License

Experience with Autism and Learning disabilities and complex health needs would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

You should be kind, patient, caring, reliable, consistent and confident in your role

Willing to learn child‑specific communication cues.

Happy to engage in sensory, creative, and play‑based activities.
