£44,000 - £52,000 + company van, fuel card and paid overtime. We're looking for a Gas Safe engineer who is also a proper plumber. If the last twelve months has been services and CP12s only, this one isn't for you - but if you can strip out a bathroom, chase a pressure fault across a whole system and swap a boiler in the same week, read on.

What you'll be doing
- Boiler servicing, fault-finding and repair - combi, system and conventional
- Heating diagnostics: controls, zone valves, pumps, cylinders, thermostats, wiring centres
- Full plumbing works: hot and cold water services, soil and waste, drainage
- Leak detection and mains pressure / flow fault-finding
- Boiler swaps, cylinder changes, radiator and pipework alterations
- Bathroom and kitchen plumbing
- CP12s, soundness and tightness testing
- Reactive callouts, making good, and same-day job reporting
What you'll need
- Gas Safe registered with current CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1
- A plumbing qualification - NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating, or time-served equivalent
- 5+ years on the tools since qualifying, across both gas and plumbing
- Genuine plumbing depth: soil and waste, drainage, pipework alterations, pressure fault-finding
- Reactive maintenance experience, not just installs or servicing
- Comfortable in occupied homes and commercial premises
- Full UK driving licence
- Your own hand tools, analyser and manometer
Nice to have
- G3 Unvented Hot Water
- Commercial tickets - COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1
- Powerflushing, basic electrical (S-plan / Y-plan, wiring centres)
- Heat pumps or solar thermal
- Asbestos awareness, CSCS, IPAF / PASMA, first aid
