Warehouse Operative
As Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for picking and packing a variety of goods and the flow of goods in and goods out. Working 40 hours per-week in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
- Goods in – Receiving and checking in goods against supplier’s paperwork
- Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy
- Ensuring all goods are put away in correct location to enable picking and packing
- Reporting any problems/defective goods to supervisor
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Loading and unloading of goods in, goods out and containers on a daily basis
- Organising and ensuring accurate and periodic cycle counts and stock takes to maintain 100% stock accuracy in all store locations
- Rotation of stock (where applicable)
- Any other duties required
The Person:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good work ethic, a reliable individual who can demonstrate good attendance and timekeeping
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience within the Engineering sector would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with ability to follow instructions
