Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions, and providing friendly, efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and food prep zones
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products meet health standards and regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while managing basic math calculations
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Skills
- Prior experience as a Barista or in serving roles is highly preferred to ensure smooth onboarding
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and processing transactions
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques for light snacks or accompaniments is a plus
- Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and team members alike
- Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to safety regulations at all times
Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
