Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, weeding, and mulching to keep gardens lush and healthy
- Operate various power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and other detailed gardening tasks
- Experience in turfing and fencing would be advantageous
- Perform general maintenance on gardening equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and garden design principles
- Mechanical knowledge for operating power tools, irrigation systems, and small machinery such as excavators
- Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks
- Prior construction experience is a plus for assisting with landscape projects or installations
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in garden upkeep and maintenance routines
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and project completion
