Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a Newly optical store.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain optical equipment and instruments, ensuring cleanliness and proper calibration
- Support with frame selection, adjustments, and fittings for customers
- Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate records
- Provide information on lens options and frames to customers
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the optical laboratory and retail area
- Support stock management, including ordering and inventory checks
Qualifications
- Experience within an optical required
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly manner when engaging with clients
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
