We are looking for reliable, practical individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Workers at Howe Dell Manor. Whether you’re beginning your career in care or want to apply your existing experience in a more meaningful setting, this role is your chance to help people - and build a career you can be proud of.
In this hands-on, people-focused role, you’ll work as part of a supportive team helping adults with complex mental health needs. Every day is different - and brings the chance to learn, grow, and do real good.

- Ability to follow routines and think on your feet when needed
- Team spirit and flexibility - day and night shifts available
- Basic IT confidence for using systems and records
Your Experience:
- Experience working in any team-focused environment
- An understanding of how mental health can affect daily life
- Support experience - preferably in mental health or related settings
- NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care preferred
- We also value life experience and a strong work ethic

Howe Dell Manor is our 19-bed specialist nursing home in Hatfield (AL10 8AE) offering a range of specialist services for men and women aged 18 and older who are suffering from enduring mental illness. Next door to Howe Dell Manor, the Coach House is a 10-bed separately registered residential home. At the Coach House, we provide a smaller, more intimate living space for men nearing the end of their rehabilitation.
