Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable 7.5 tonne driver to join our dynamic logistics team.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods efficiently and on time to customers all over the UK.
Your expertise in commercial driving and delivery will ensure our customers receive exceptional service, while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills make a real impact. Temp role with the potential of turning full time for the right candidate.
Duties
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne curtain sided truck.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests and delivery logs
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses or any delays
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a multi drop delivery driver.
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as unloading, and securing cargo.
- Excellent navigation skills.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
