Position Field Inspector
Our Team You will be working within the Operations team to help maintain & develop Bauer’s Out of Home advertising portfolio, reporting to the Operations Manager.
The Role At Bauer Media Outdoor, we believe that personal values and professional passion are key to driving success.
As part of the Operations team, the Field Inspector will proactively conduct inspections across our portfolio including construction projects, maintenance & cleaning, in line with our company processes & H&S standards, facilitating follow up actions as required, ensuring we have great street furniture to support our local communities.
As a Field Inspector your mission will be to embody Bauer’s values and contribute to the exciting future of our business. You will be a crucial part of a dynamic team, where your efforts directly align with our vision, pushing boundaries of excellence every day.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for all aspects of on site inspections, including:
· Regular inspections of cleaning & maintenance activities to ensure company standards are maintained
· Strucured annual inspection of sites within extensive portfolio to identify maintenance issues
· Regular sub-contractor & operative inspections to ensure all H&S protocols are adhered to
· Visit construction sites to review & inspect activities ensuring all external & internal requirements are met & any issues are addressed
· Complete construction sign-off audits & compile reports on range of inspections
· Ensure all reports and data is recorded accurately on the company online systems
· Build strong positive working relationships & communication with sub contractors and internal team
YourSkills
· At least 1 years relevant working experience in a similar business role with a background Construction sector desirable
· Survey skills to assess range of technical & non technical tasks
· Comfortable with H&S protocols & risk assessments
· Excellent administration, planning and organisation skills
· IT literate & confident when using Microsoft packages - comfortable adapting to bespoke systems
· Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy and accuracy
· Capable of working individually while maintaining good and effective communication with colleagues and other contacts.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities & deadlines

· Driven personality with desire to meet & exceed targets & deadlines
· Strong communication skills & interpersonal skills (verbal & written)
· Full clean driving licence
· Flexible approach to working hours
· Willingness to learn & undergo training as required
Working Pattern and Location
A fulltime permanent position of 40 hours per week, based in Belfast with extensive time in field
