About the Role
Based at our Edinburgh Broxburn unit, you will be part of a highly motivated team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our customers. You will operate a fleet of modern, specialised catering vehicles, transporting and loading catering supplies onto a variety of aircraft—from small business jets to large commercial airliners—within a secure and controlled environment.

£18.30 per hour + 10% night allowance + overtime (rates under annual review)

3 days on / 3 days off shift pattern

Night shifts: 20:00–08:00 or 00:00–12:00

Main Duties
-
Driving 15–18 tonne HGV company vehicles in a secure environment
-
Conducting vehicle checks before use
-
Loading and unloading catering supplies onto aircraft
-
Liaising with flight crew and working alongside ground handling teams

Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and organisation

Complying with Road Traffic Acts and airport by-laws

Assisting with additional duties such as bar and stores packing, search and sealing, and completing relevant paperwork

Supporting warehouse operations as required
Requirements

Valid HGV Category C driving licence (up to 3 penalty points may be considered)

Digital tachograph card and relevant knowledge

Driver CPC qualification (essential)

Previous HGV driving experience (airport airside experience is advantageous)

Good understanding of Road Traffic regulations
Additional Information
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to pass a Criminal Record Check (CRC). You must also provide five years of verifiable employment history. If you have spent more than six months outside the UK, you will need to provide a criminal record check from the relevant country.
