Job Summary
We are seeking a part time qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered) to join our experienced team, ideally for Mondays and Tuesdays. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist dentists and hygienists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures,
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment care instructions and reassurance
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Manage appointment scheduling and organise clinic logistics to optimise workflow
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery at all times
- Adhere to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a caring attitude
- GDC registration is essential for all candidates
