Join our Transportation Project Delivery Practice (PDP), where everyone pulls together to get the job done. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in small, specialised schemes as well as the most high‑profile projects in the country. You'll be trusted with leadership faster and supported to develop your career in a way that works for you. This role can be based at any of our regional offices (circa 2‑3 days per week) but may require occasional travel to sites or offices across the UK, to meet the requirements of our clients and project teams.

Cost Management - Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure the project is delivered within budget. Validating and managing contractor and supplier costs & payments.

Reporting - Providing regular input to financial reports to ensure our clients have confidence in their project outcomes.

Presenting financial performance and risk updates.

Procurement – Undertaking procurement or supporting the procurement team in evaluating and appointing contractors.

Contract Administration - Administering various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.

Managing contract change reviewing validity, quotations and ensuring timely submissions and agreement.

Working closely with the Project Manager to maintain accurate and comprehensive project records.

Risk and Value Management - Identifying, analysing, and mitigating commercial risks. Assisting in value engineering to optimise project performance.

Collaboration – Working in the client team and liaising with leadership, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.

Developing Colleagues – Working closely with your team to encourage development and advance your colleagues' career progression.

Track record of successful delivery within the engineering and construction industry.

Experience across a range of common forms of contract (particularly, expertise in NEC).

Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying.

Professionally qualified or working towards/ keen to commence.

Excellent analytical skills and consistent attention to detail with the ability to solve complex problems and mitigate risks.

Excellent verbal and written communication including report writing, presentations and contractual correspondence.
