Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Supervisor Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that every customer enjoys an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
