- Have outstanding IT and computing skills, with confidence using a range of software and digital systems.

- Demonstrate a positive, proactive approach and a willingness to support colleagues across the school.
- Be a wonderful team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a positive working environment.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident communicating with parents, pupils, staff and external agencies.
- Be flexible and happy to support the School Leadership Team with a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Be hard working and have a strong desire to do the best possible job to support the children, families and staff at John Hellins Primary School.
Experience of working within a school environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of school systems such as SIMS, ParentPay and other educational software would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Starting 1st September 2026, this position will be for 37 hours per week 08:30 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Friday.
This role will be offered on a permanent basis, the role salary is based on 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days).
Salary is £13.26 per hour paid pro rata (£25,583 FTE) in equal monthly payments. The role will require occasional evening work or holiday work for which TOIL will be given.
