Are you looking for a bit of extra income and have a passion for helping others? We are currently recruiting Bank Care Responders to join our multi award winning Response24 team.
Access Your Care is a well-established leading home care provider in North Somerset working with North Somerset Council to provide response based services across the county.
Our response teams work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing emergency support to clients around North Somerset. Based from our offices in Weston-super-Mare they regularly support clients with:
- Personal care emergencies.
- Assisting clients who have fallen using specialist equipment.
- Attending non responses.
- Administering first aid or taking observations to pass to our health partners.
- Administering medication.
- Nutrition and hydration support.
- Using specialist equipment and correct manual handling procedures to assist clients who are less mobile.
- Offering companionship, support and a friendly ear, giving clients social nourishment.
This role is a bank contract, meaning you can pick your own days to work, you would be required to work a minimum of 6 shifts per month, shift patterns are:
- Mornings – 07:00-15:00
- Afternoons – 14:30-22:30
- Nights – 22:00-07:30
You would also be required to attend our week long classroom based induction which takes place at our offices and runs from Monday-Friday, you would be paid for your attendance.

Financials:
- Block paid shifts (paid an hourly rate from the start to the end of your shift including when travelling and awaiting a call out) paid at £13.30 per hour, something rarely seen in the social care sector.
- Use of our company vehicles when on shift, and 45p per mile mileage paid to you when you use your own vehicle for work purposes.
- Earn £250 for every employee referral you make, this is uncapped.
